MRI was the Construction Manager for renovation of the 65,000square foot National Guard hangar complex which was accomplished in seven weeks. There was a need for rapid response because of the tenant lease situation so MRI worked the crafts in three shifts to avoid overtime. • Lead paint and asbestos abatement was a large part of the project where all exterior siding was replaced because of the asbestos coating and lead paint. • The Complex was converted to an aircraft maintenance facility where the aircraft interiors are completely removed and replaced with new interior components. A cabinet shop, upholstery shop, and a mechanics’s shop were built in the facility.
