Hurricane Ike tore off the roof and knocked off numerous exterior cladding marble slabs. MRI performed the following work.

Forensic engineering to settle the insurance claim
Engineering code upgrade analysis
Engineering drawings and permitting
Demolition of the top three floor interiors
Removed all marble cladding
Installed exterior steel frame for structural integrity
Installed new exterior stucco cladding
Installed all new glazing throughout
Removed and reconstructed the soffit
Fabricated and installed two canopies
Installed concrete sidewalks and retaining walls

This 1964 era building experienced significant storm damage and other structural deficiencies as well. All damage and deficiencies were remedied and the certificated of occupancy was issued by the City of Houston after detailed inspections.
