MRI was selected to perform this project because the previous builder had abandoned the site leaving the owner with a half finished foundation. Some of the work that MRI performed as the general contractor included the following.
• Layout and documentation of existing partial foundation
• Re-work of existing concrete and steel foundation.
• Foundation value engineering to eliminate excessive steel
• Placing structural forms and concrete retaining walls
• Concrete flat work driveways, sidewalks & equipment pads
• Framing the two story home including doors and windows
• Spray poly foam insulation on exterior walls
• Poured gypsum on both the first and second floors
• Installed cabinets, trim and interior doors
• Texture, painting and finishing floors
• Site work and roof completion
This 10,000 square foot home is located on Buffalo Bayou and includes an infinity edge pool that looks over the bayou.
