Challenges of this project included the following.
• Asbestos spread throughout the building
• Large structural beams required replacement
• Replaced miles of computer wire and cable
• Replaced elevator shaft components
• Cleaned entire structure of smoke
• Developed mold abatement criteria MRI organized and managed the work of several restoration companies and two large construction companies.
MRI also helped settle the insurance claim by working with the insurance company adjusters to develop a scope of repair as it was discovered. MRI also ensure the charges were appropriate and reasonable through a detailed audit process.
